1. Who is eligible to purchase Meet and Greet service?
Meet and Assist is available for customers with confirmed business class ticket or confirmed Economy flex ticket.
2. Where can I purchase Meet and Greet Service?
Meet and Assist service is available for purchase on ET website, Mobile App, ticket offices & Global Customer Interaction Center.
3. How can I pay for Meet and Greet Service?
You can purchase the service with credit card, debit card, bank transfer & in cash.
4. When can I purchase the service?
Passengers must purchase the service at least 48 hrs. prior to departure.
5. I’ve booked Meet and Greet service; where do I need to go to use the service?
For Departure service, an agent will be waiting at the departure gate holding your name to provide the required service.
For Arrival service, an agent will be waiting at arrival gate to provide the required service.
For Transit services, an agent will be waiting at transfer gate to provide the required service
6. Is Meet and Greet service refundable?
Meet and Greet purchases are non-refundable and non-routable. However, for involuntary change and flight cancellation it will be refundable
7. I’m flying with a partner airline, can l book Meet and Greet service?
Meet and Greet service is available on Ethiopian operated flights only. It is not available if you’re flying with any of our partner airlines.
8. What happens if my flight is re-scheduled by Ethiopian Airlines?
Meet and Assist service will be amended on the booking for the rescheduled flight.
9. What happens if I change my flight after I have paid for Meet and Greet Service?
Meet and Assist service benefits will be transferred to the flights on your updated itinerary based on service availability. However, the charges are non-refundable for voluntary changes such flight cancellation, travel date change and etc.
10. Can I use my ShebaMiles miles to pay for Meet and Greet service?
Service is not currently available for miles purchase but will be available in the near future.
